What you can expect from VeryVintageVegas

We've been posting the rapid change to downtown for a couple of years now, and we're constantly being asked "What about my neighborhood" or "what about Paradise Palms" or "What about McNeil etc.

So we decided to do something about it. Very Vintage Vegas is our new "umbrella" blog to cover all the classic VINTAGE neighborhoods of the original Las Vegas.

We'll be watching and posting daily with pictures, history, happenings and more. When we see a home get new owners, we'll start watching for the inevitable improvements. We'll be searching out and posting pictures of the best examples of the varied architecture, and landscapes (and even the eyesores).

We'll be doing interviews with newcomers, dragging the memories and the histories out of the "old timers" and generally documenting the rapid change. We'll be introducing you to the stores, merchants, businesses and professionals who "get it" about Vintage Vegas.

We invite input, guest posts, comments, suggestions, and especially introductions to people we should be talking to. Please help us make this a great place to visit everyday.
