First Friday Art Machine

One very cool "vintage-esque" item you might run across as you wander The Arts Factory on Charleston Blvd, is the "Mart-o-Matic." Invented by Marty Walsh, owner of the Trifecta Gallery, the once cigarette machine turned art dispenser rests near the rear entrance to the Factory.

After selling the entire series of vintage appliance artwork, Marty was still being asked to produce prints of the work. Her solution? She printed small versions of the art and affixed them onto wooden blocks that can now be dispensed automatically via vending token.

The cigarette box sized replicas are a fun & novel way to distribute kitchie vintage style art. Stop into The Arts Factory & check out the Mart-o-Matic & say hi to Marty, another fan of the VeryVintageVegas movement! She's one the many artists who's moved back into one of the Vintage neighborhoods, and has a great 1941 home on Park Paseo!
