A backyard makeover we've been watching

A faithful reader and Very happy past client has been doing a complete back yard and pool make over. He sent along a few before and almost done (pool is being re-plastered this weekend to finish it up for the start of swim season).

The best lesson they learned from previous projects? Go with the middle bid from the most reputable contractor! Check him out thoroughly with the contractor board, BBB, past customers.

Ask for the name of the most unhappy customer that they ever had, and interview them also. They'll tell you the truth about how well the company responded and how they managed to fix the problem if they did. If they won't tell you who the previous unhappy customer that is now happy was, then let them know you'll be getting more bids and won't be using them.
