I found a small collection of "The Mint" memorablia, at a garage sale on Sunday. I got curious and hopped in my car to see if I could find any part of this great property still hiding on Fremont Street. , I soon realized that The Mint was absolutely no longer with us. It became part of the horseshoe in 1989, and every bit of it is gone.
The Mint was a triumph to lights and lines designed by architects Zick & Sharp. The mint was one of a kind in Vintage Vegas.
