going to spread out my first friday pictures thru the week.
We started the night at one of our favorite designer's workshop. Durette Studio, at 1007 S. Main always features music on first friday. Last night was jazz guitarist Laverne Christie and her trio. That's our own Steve Christmas talking to Durette.
Durette carries simpley the MOST INCREDIBLE lines of architectural hardware to be found anywhere (and certainly not at HD/Lowes). I suggest stopping in if you're trying to make your vintage home a truly one of a kind showplace.
We met Bill Kauffman, who Durette swears is the best lighting consultant in town. He's working with her now, after many years at the big lighting store under the Sahara railroad bridge that closed last year, but I can't remember the name of.
