To think that it happened on Fremont St. - Free Party Tonight!

Music? Art? Fremont? Drinks? Free?
I'll take plenty of all of the above, please. You can too. Following up Friday's lighting ceremony, the Fremont East area is throwing another shindig to prove its staying power as a local's urban culture powerhouse. Two of my good friends (who are both aesthetically/Urban minded folks I'd love to coax into moving here) & label bosses in the electronic music industry (Jakub Alexander of Moodgadget Records [brooklyn, ny], and Sam Valenti IV of Ghostly International [detroit/ ann arbor, Mi]) will be performing tonight at the United Fine Art Gallery venue, hosted by Vurb Magazine (hey the folks with the great magazine have great taste in music too, cheers!)

Also peaking my interest as a DJ & picky music snot, are Blue Scholars (Who I've been wanting to see for a year now) performing at Beauty Bar. They hail from Portland, OR. and differentiate themselves by producing intelligent and evolutionary hip hop with an amazing back beat. Oh, & Anheuser-Busch will be hosting both alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages this evening.

Come out & join us tonight & keep the great vibe of Fremont East, and downtown art & music rolling.
