Still my all time favorite

Vegas, this has been my favorite home for many years. Stopped by again yesterday to drool some more. It's on Viking, east of Eastern Ave, but it's hidden in a little private drive.

I wish I'd lined up the circle in the gate better since it perfectly mirrors the circular doorway. Perfection is in the details. The home has the details, but I wish I was better at it when I have the camera in my hand. Now I have a GOOD excuse to go back again.

Art Deco Peek-a-Boo

Anyone know how we can see the rest of this Art Deco Palace that's barely visable off of Viking east of Eastern?
I'd bet the rest of it is stunning!
We'd love to post about it if someone knows someone.

When your on Viking during Part 3 of the History Hunt, can see it barely peaking over the fence if you're eastbound. Go past it and turn around and take a look westbound from the other side of the property.

Best Iron Gates in all of Las Vegas

are in Vintage Vegas. Gershon Court is off Rochelle, just east of Eastern Ave. Even though it's a new gated cul-de-sac for McMansions, it's still in the geographic territory of "Vintage Vegas". There's lots of classic 50's and 60's homes off of Twain and Viking, East of Eastern.

Many of these were country homes of the Doctors, Lawyers and well to do of the era. Now of course, they're close in and only 5 minutes to the strip.
I'll post one of the best Mid Century Modern style homes in all of Las Vegas (which is off Viking) in another post.
