There's so many wonderful spots with big trees, chirping birds, cool lawns, and lots of shade scattered all over Vintage Vegas.
Some are city and county parks, some are just part of various neighborhoods. I often just pull over for 5 minutes and sit in the lawn or on a bench and listen to the birds, the tennis balls, the children on the playground or the hum of a vibrant energetic URBAN core of the city..
Bob Baskin Park on Oakey between Rancho and Valley View is one of my most frequent 5 minute vacation spots.
You'll pass all of these if you're doing the History Hunt, or the side trips we're mentioning in various posts.
Do you have a "secret spot" you'd like to share? Post it in the comments, or send us a picture.
