Ugly. Nothing irritates a habitual blogger like a dead in the water Internet Service Provider. If you were in our 'network area' using EMBARQ.. then your morning has probably been as frustrating as ours. At my home, I use Cox Cable & I've had one outage in 2 years.
If part of what we do is connect the thousands of professionals & contractors we've experienced as a 'good & reliable resource' for our readers, then after this morning I'd have to go ahead and NOT recommend Embarq. We've had multiple outages here at the VVV Headquarters in the last few months.
So, that being said, we're back online for the moment. Officially, we may go back out anytime between now and the next 20 hours. Interestingly enough we were the first phone call to inform them that the service was down, and the first phone call to let them know the system was back online. We'll see if we can get some interesting posts up for you soon, although Jack does most of the posting, and that usually happens in the morning. At the moment he's out taking care of clients, closing files, and all that other fun 'Realtor stuff.'

Oh, please, Jack. Cox has PLENTY of issues and I hear about them from customers every day. Embarq has it's share of problems, for sure, like trying to screw us out of a good contract, so that they can keep the profits for the CEO's, meanwhile cutting benefits left & right... We're right now in a stalemate, and could strike any day. If that happens...we might be downsizing...
