JACK IT UP!!

Nope, we're not talking about Jack LeVine's effect on the real property values in the Vintage Vegas Urban Core. It's a dumpster story (no it's not a feature on Summerlin rentals turned foreclosure either).

It's actually about renovating your great mid-century home and keeping the cool lines! While wandering Royal Crest Rancheros waiting to deliver a washer & dryer to one of our friends this morning (yes, we're that helpful of a real estate team), I found this home on Travois Cir. It looks like someone's making some changes to their Ranch Home and keeping the updates in line with the original architecture. If you've got to squeeze a boat or RV in there, let's hope you do it like this!

About as Far South as we cover

Meet Royal Crest Rancheros! A truly hidden gem of a community in Vintage Vegas.

Located on both sides of Spencer, between Tropicana and Harmon, it features 158 homes, all on 1/2 acre lots. There's lots of twisting streets, interesting cul-de-sacs and some surprise dead ends. The homes were all built in 1964 and 1965, back when Tropicana was a gravel road out in the desert. McCarren Airport was under construction at the same time, and they built IT way out in the desert out of everyones way. From RCR, it's only 2 minutes to the airport.
Can you Say Vintage RANCH STYLE? Many of them are kept beautifully,

and many of them aren't.
We think this hidden treasure will be one to watch, as about half of the residents "get it", and half of them DON'T YET.
My favorite aspect is that it's the ONLY neighborhood I know of in Vintage Vegas without curbs, gutters, sidewalks or street lights. Every resident I've ever talked to LOVES IT THAT WAY!
Currently there are 6 homes for sale between 519,000 and 618,000. All but one of the least expensive have pools. All are on full 1/2 acre lots.
