I bought a home with a courtyard, ordered rocks and liner and lighting, invited all my friends and got a shovel........ Nobody showed up so I did it myself. It wasn't scary, it was affordable and I got lots of pride of ownership that weekend. Sometimes big projects get put on the back burner. I didn't start sooner because I thought it would never get finished. I took one weekend and did it myself for around $500. I couldn't be more pleased and the entrance to my home looks great.
