it can have a really nice look. And this is my favorite all time pattern, I think, because it creates so many different designs depending on where you look and where you focus.
All of these are from the same block wall on Algonquin Circle. 
When you obscure the mortar lines with stucco, it leaves your eye free to wander.
Try it on some of the block walls you see ALL OVER Vintage Vegas.
I still think there's a market for someone to start making these again. Lowes only carries the most BASIC x design
