update: we've discovered that Wes Isbutt, founder and owner of the the "Arts Factory" (which anchors Arts District is responsible for making this happen.
An Eyesore NO MORE! We're watching the daily progress of the rehab being done at 1615 s. 15th at the corner of Oakey. The Bad Carport to Garage Conversion is gone... and new wrought Iron has been added to make the carport original again. The yard's been cleaned, the trees trimmed, and we welcome a new "anchor" to the neighborhood. We'll keep shooting pix everytime we drive by. I'm sure it will be fabulous based on what's happening already!
