I spend my time driving around talking with people, taking pictures and collecting stories about Vintage Vegas. The Real Estate end of our business helps us match the people who "get it" with the best homes in Vintage Vegas. Real Estate helps fund our passion for Vintage Vegas. The Blog is for anybody and everybody, We love comments, opinions and emails. I can't get enough feedback. What should be on the Blog? What don't I know about? Whats going to happen next? A Big thanks to all who read our Blog now that we know there are thousands of you ( isn't technology great!!!) We want the "UncleJackpot" Party, June 16th at my home on Chapman Drive to be the meeting place for all who are interested, fascinated and involved with Vintage Vegas. ALL OUR READERS ARE INVITED. Any questions let me know-BEN NATION bennation@yahoo.com or jack@unclejack.com

What A Vintage Vegas Find!!

Check out this Souvenir from my collection. It sure beats a t-shirt. The lady I acquired this from bought it here in the 60's and had it on her kitchen wall until last year. She said it was responsible for her messy kitchen and for many trips to Vegas over the last forty years.
If you have anymore souvenirs I should post, let me know. bennation@yahoo.com

Sharon Stone's Closet in "CASINO"

6th Street and Bonita is the home of "Sharon Stone's Closet" in the Casino Movie.
Back in '94 (just as I was taking a long shot by moving into downtown --before it was the hip thing to do) film crews with all the trucks and buses and trailers and wires had everything blocked off for days for the location shoot.

It's for rent now, at 2200/month. Tell some of the suburbanites about it. Any realtor can show it or give us a call.

Alta Vista is the name of the 117 home neighborhood between 6th Street and 10th Street on St. Louis, Canosa, Bonita and some of Oakey. There's a real mix of housing styles and sizes. This one is rare because of the added 2nd story and garage, but it fits nicely into the surrounding area. Take a drive by sometime. You'll be surprised at how cute and charming the neighborhood is.

Frantz and Stephanie Kebreau, the premier downtown restoration specialists are rebuilding a home in Alta Vista at 8th and Bonita. We'll have it for sale in about a month. Watch for photos in a near future post about the restoration of 801 Bonita.
