dumb stuff I see way TOO much of

Cabinets that don't fit the space, and even though it's not apparent in the photo, the gap on the left is about 6 inches and the gap on the right is about 4 inches.

If you look closely at the 3 doorways in a row, you'll see that the top molding in the first doorway is at a different height than the other 2.

Very often, when people are house hunting, it's little details that you can't quite "put a finger on", that hit their subconscious brain and say something is wrong with this picture. My friend Christl says "the devil is in the details".

Whether you're doing it yourself, or paying someone to do it for you, if you let something slide and hope no one will notice, be assured someone probably will. I know from real experience, which is why I'm only allowed to do demolition work on our own projects. I'm not real good at making things pretty or perfect!
